Is early voting a bad idea?

Elections, whether they are at the local, state, or federal level, should be a priority for all citizens. Early elections provide an easy way out for voters who prefer not to focus on the entire race. Voting a month or two beforehand prevents voters from seeing crucial debates. People should follow the issues carefully throughout the election, and make an educated decision based on candidates’ positions, integrity, and composure. In order to make a proper judgment of candidates, voters must follow their activities closely throughout the campaign. Most importantly, citizens should not view voting as an inconvenience. They should feel a desire to vote on Election Day and perform their civic duty. Voting is not an inconvenience; it is the opportunity to influence the political landscape and direction of our country.
