Democrats Plan Political Triage to Retain House

As this year's midterm elections approach, the big question is whether or not Republic candidates will win an advantage in Congress. It seems like the United States has fallen into a state of perpetual displeasure with our legislature, with party control oscillating every few years. It is extremely discouraging to see such severe partisan attitudes throughout American politics, because it truly inhibits legislative progress. Although it is far easier said than done, our politicians must find a way to compromise for the benefit of the country as a whole, rather than being strictly concerned about gaining control along party lines.

You beat me to the post. Interesting article. Circling the wagons (or shooting the sick) this early is a risky strategy.
