As attractive as that sounds to someone like myself who despises the control of special interests on our parties and our politicians the only way that a substantial third party opponent were to ever take the stage and challenge the President's fundraising juggernaught, would be if the person were already a multi-billionaire and passionate enough to devote him or herself to a long and expensive race.
